We are seeking a talented and experienced UI/UX Engineer to join our team and take ownership of our product’s user experience and interface design. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with a keen eye for design and user experience.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of user interfaces using React and Tailwind CSS
- Own and maintain our product’s design system and style guidelines
- Create responsive, accessible, and performant web applications
- Collaborate with backend engineers to design and implement APIs that support sophisticated user experiences
- Identify and resolve UX pain points across our product suite
- Make independent technical and design decisions while keeping stakeholders informed
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX engineering
- Expert-level proficiency in React and modern JavaScript
- Strong command of Tailwind CSS and responsive design principles
- Proven track record of shipping complex web applications
- Experience with component-based architecture and design systems
- Strong understanding of web accessibility standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with user research and usability testing
- Knowledge of TypeScript and static typing
- Familiarity with design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, etc.)
- Contributions to open-source projects
- Experience with performance optimization and monitoring
- Background in user-centered design principles
